The Evangelical Covenant Church takes seriously both the mission of Christ and the unity of Christ’s Church. These two burdens converge at the point of pressing forward in ethnic ministry and diversity.
The ECC has developed a six-fold multi-dimensional test to guide us in living into advancing the mission through the multi-ethnic mosaic of churches, of which we are all a part. This test allows us to approach multi-ethnic ministry with wisdom and resolve; it is not meant to be sequential, but rather with action moving forward on multiple fronts.
