Some men carry a badge. Some carry a weapon. Some carry keys to a cellblock. Every man carries responsibility.

Stand Firm is a practical men's guide through the King James Bible, written for men who work under pressure and cannot afford shallow faith.

Built around 365 daily readings from Genesis through Revelation, this field guide connects Scripture to authority, discipline, integrity, courage, family, failure, recovery, leadership, and faith. It speaks directly to law enforcement officers, correctional professionals, military personnel, first responders, supervisors, husbands, fathers, and men responsible for others.

This book does not flatter men, worship uniforms, or confuse aggression with strength. It confronts anger, pride, fear, temptation, trauma, bitterness, weak leadership, abuse of authority, private compromise, and failure at home.

Each daily reading includes:

- Assigned King James Bible chapters
- A Situation Report
- Key Scripture
- The Hard Truth
- On Duty and At Home applications
- A Threat Assessment
- Standing Orders
- An After-Action Review
- A closing prayer

Matthew Baumgartner draws from about twenty years in corrections, advancing from correctional officer to chief of security. His experience includes institutional security, shift command, emergency response, Special Response Team leadership, staff development, policy writing, and after-action review.

If you want comfortable slogans and empty motivation, this is not that book.

Stand Firm calls men to read Scripture, control themselves, accept responsibility, protect others, lead their families, admit failure, repent, and remain faithful when pressure exposes who they really are.
